Hey everyone. I just signed up for the forum to aquire as much info as I can to start bow hunting. My brother in law, who was supposed to introduce me to the sport over the last few seasons, fell ill and passed last April Now I am on my own. I haven't shot a bow in about 20 years and it was a recurve at that. I'll be buying my first compound bow in the next couple of weeks and spending LOTS of time in the backyard building my shot confidence. I even have a tree i can set up a practice stand in I hope to see alot of you guys on here!
First of all, sorry for your loss. Welcome to an amazing forum. Its great to have you. You'll learn a lot from some great folks here. I suggest, as questions pop in your head, to do thread topic searches and read. Its probably been discussed before. But if indeed you can't find answers that way don't hesitate to ask. Again welcome aboard.
Sorry about your brother in law and welcome to the forum. I live and bowhunt on my property in Ohio but we have a family cabin in Clarion county where I rifle hunt. If you have any questions there's a ton of knowledge in these forums, feel free to ask.
Thanks for the condolences and the welcomes. @Fuzz_27, I'm in the exact opposite location. Southeast Pa. About 30 miles from Lancaster.
