Just a quick note to introduce myself. 36 years old, new to archery, shot bows as a kid but hadnt picked one up in probably 20 years. I regained interest recently from some podcasts I listen to frequently. So did my research, talked to a few local archery shops, looked at some new and used bows, and ended up getting a Bowtech Assassin in nearly new condition, spot hogg real deal 5 pin sight, QAD ultrarest drop away, bee stinger 8" stablizer. Really happy with my setup, practicing daily in my yard at 25 yards. Its addicting to say the least.

@Gator Dale appreciate it, that is kind of far out for me but i will check iot out maybe next time im headed out west. Found a great shop over here close to me called Gateway Archery, small family owned really nice people, they have a small range also. Jim the owner kind of helped me in finding the right bow for me, great shop. But im also closet to Cinnamon Creek Ranch a large Archery shop with indoor/outdoor ranges, 3d range, simulated hunting course, etc. I am planning on spending some time there soon hopefully.
