Hi guys! My name is Carl and I'm just starting out bowhunting. I will be going up to PA this year for the rutt. I'm really excited to get hunting! I've read and watched alot about bowhunting. I've been practicing at least 5-6 times a month for the past 4 months. I plan on working harder as I get closer to the rutt. What tips do you guys have? What camo would you recommend for mid november with temps around 40 degrees? fleece with layers ok? I'm also watching bargain cave on cabela's and some other stuff for good camo deals. What videos would you recommend? There's alot to think about when you go hunting, what would you say is the best checklist for getting ready? I don't want to forget anything... Thanks in advance!
Welcome! Can I assume you are a Gator fan? We have all kinds of videos here on the site: http://www.bowhunting.com/videos As well as a checklist! http://www.bowhunting.com/pages/hunting-resources/bowhunting-checklist
Thanks for the warm invite guys I'm heading to Reinholds, PA. My dad has some property and what not. I'm going to check out those videos ASAP (and the checklist). I actually managed to find a ton of Mossy Oak camo this weekend (fleece and micro fleece). Gander Mountain had it 75% off and it's super quiet and insulated as well. I guess they were getting rid of their winter camo?
