Hey guys, Hows it going? Im new here to the forums, I have watched alot of the bow hunting clips from the bowhunt or die season's, also all the other video clips they have on their. Last year was my first year bow hunting, It was kinda slow for me but I can say that I learned alot! Im really stoked for this year to come up and I have been doing alot of planing so that Im totally ready when season roles around the corner. I got my bow new last year, Its a 2011 qwest rev 60-70# (set at 60# with a 28.5 draw), With a trophy ridge hitman sight, Nap Apache drop away rest, apex nano mqx quiver. I hunt mainly the colville national forest, Hoping to get a nice black bear and a white tail outta their this year. Hope to get a turkey this year to, but it will be out of around creston instead of up north. Well thanks for stopping by, glad to join a new hunting forum! QR11
Welcome to the site QR! Good luck this year, sounds like you'll be spending some good time in the woods
Qwest- You caught my attention when you said eastern WA, and then really caught it when you said Colville! My in-laws have lived there for about 8 years now and my wife and I are going to move up there in about a year when I get outta the Army. How's the hunting up there? I've seen white-tail and bear personally- I know of a few guys who scored some nice elk. Can't wait to hunt that area. Hope you get a turkey man
Hey guys thanks for stoppin by and saying hello! Cant wait to get my hunt on! I have been planing and planing away. So I will be so ready. Hey man, I havent seen any elk, but this will be my first year hunting the area. I know that their are elk in their but they are scattered. Lots of deer, bear, turkey, cougar, grouse. All the good stuff! Yea man Im really excited! Im going to be doing my turkey hunt probably around creston, I got some friends over their and the turkey are so thick I could hit 10 with my truck just driving down the street, but I know they are up that way to! GMU's 101, 204 are awesome, Great stats for the amount of game taken out between all seasons. So thats where I plant to do most of my hunting. But thanks for stopping by man, talk to you later. Happy hunting.
