Hello there, I am Allan Tew, and my wife Denise and I are happy to be able to join your group. I am an avid bowhunter and Denise enjoys hunting with her rifle. We live in a small community in rural BC, 2 hours from the nearest city. We are fortunate to own a remote guiding area with a great camp where we have hosted and made friends with a lot of people over the last 20 years. Unfortunately, a lot of our favorite guests are just getting too old for the trip north and we are hoping to meet new hunters interested in coming up and hunting our trophy black bears (spot and stalk, so exciting with the bow!) bull moose, mule deer and mountain goat, plus wolves, cougar, grouse, fishing, horseback riding, camping....

We would welcome any and all inquiries. Happy hunting, Allan and Denise Tew

What part of BC? I flew into Prince George Monday and drove out to Prince Rupert for work. Beautiful area.

Good morning. Welcome to BC. We are west of Williams Lake, about half way to Bella Coola. Never been to Prince Rupert, but was in Terrace a couple of times. Way different country than here, we are fairly dry and flat on the Fraser River plateau with some big mountains west of where we live. See any mountain goats on your drive?

    Welcome!
Have you ever heard of a fellow named Jeff Lander? He's a guide in BC who guided me in the Edmonton Bow Zone a couple times when he used to do whitetail hunts there. He now does the types of hunts you describe.

I have guided bowhunters successfully for moose, black bear, mtn goat, plains bison, mule deer and cougar. I'm not sure the exact number. The first was a bear hunter from Tennessee in 1994. If you count family and friends I've helped along the way the number would easily double. When I hunt myself it is with my bow.

When we purchased our guiding territory I was determined to only take bowhunters. I was a bit naive then and it did not take long to realize I had to take all comers to stay in business. No regrets though, we have met lots of great interesting people since.
