Hello everyone I'm new to this forum, And fairly new to bowhunting (2019). I currently have an old Parker bow, but am thinking about upgrading. I'm looking at a mathews mission, but it s kind of a small bow (the ATA is 28") And I'M pretty tall (6'1"), what i'm wondering is, will this bow work for me? Thanks in advance
Welcome to the site. As for the mission it's a great bow as it allows you to grow with a span of DL and DW options. But if you are done growing I would go with something with a solid back wall. Take the time and hit a few pro shops and shoot all the big names. One will feel right. I loved my Mathews Heli and it was tiny. But when I did upgrade to a longer bow I found my anchor felt easier to locate and stability was improved.
For 15 absolutely it's a great choice. It will allow for growth and tastes change quick at that age. Keep at it and ask us anything.
A hello, I'm a newbie 63yr Ole, been arching since early 70's Have a mission riot by Mathews Good bow. Big Moose in Alaska, envious lol. Plus loads of knowledge on line now, Ole School learning New School. You've got many years of enjoyment n tasty moose.
So. I decided against the Mathews because I found a beter deal on a Diamond. Thanks for the advice and suggestions.
