    Hi All,

I stopped bowhunting when my son was born. Now that he is 14, he's starting to show signs of wanting to hunt. As much as I want to bowhunt with him, I want his priority to be in school and trying to make the high school baseball team (he is a good athlete with good hand eye coordination). Our time will come soon.

A lot has changed in these past 14 years. We didn't have great sites like this one to research different bows, arrows, sights, and rests like here. We had to do it the "old fashion" way. I have boxes full of crap that looked good but didn't work. I've also had good success with what has worked. I started with Martin bows and went through a few including Hoyt, Onieda Screaming Eagle (who remembers that one?), PSE, and Jennings. Arrows used were Beeman and Easton A/C/H. Broadheads were NAP Thunderhead 125.

It's great to see everyone's opinion on what's out there. Bows that I'm currently interested in are the Hoyt Carbon Matrix and Element, PSE Omen, and the Mathews Heli-M (I'm still not sold on the solo cam though, personal opinion). The bow that I'm looking at for my son is the Mission Riot.

Thaks for your help in advance. I know that I will be seeking it in the future.
