I recently put out a site using monster raxx and for 3 days after we got a total of 5+ inches of rain. This area isn't thick with deer and the pics started out slow but the deer I am getting are not even pausing at the site. I left it alone for now to see if it picks up but I'm kind of suspecting the MR may have got washed out with the torrential down pours. So I guess what I'm asking is if any of you guys that have dealt with a lot of rain refresh sites more frequently and especially after heavy downpours?

Did you turn up the ground where you put the Monster RAXX? If the ground is hard and sloped at all the mineral could be washed away pretty quickly. Turning up the ground will help pool the mineral and some water. Then again the amounts of rain you are talking I'd say they probably leached away pretty good.

Speaking only for our products, if they were already soaked into the ground some before the heaviest rains, they would remain quite active. However, if you put it on top of dry ground and then a flood of rain came, I don't think any mineral product would have remained very potent.

This area was not established yet. I break up the soil well and mix the mineral in and usually put some wood chunks or big stump chunk in the mix. This site unfortunately didn't get to sit 24 hours and the rain hit. We have rain in the forecast again until Saturday so I'm hoping to check it after that clears out and just refresh then. Like I mentioned it's not an area that's thick with deer but there are some good bucks in there I'd like to put my eyes on.

Believe it or not I started a Monster Raxx mineral site in this spot last spring. It's in a low lying area as you can see from these pic's. We had 14" of rain in one week last summer and as you can see , my site was covered in water. But once it dried up the Deer came right back to it. This spring with all the snow we had here it was flooded again, once it dried up, they came back. I wouldn't give up on yours just yet.
