I wanted to shoot a 125 head. killzone don't make make in deep six. I added 15g to the insert by adding a finishing nail. 15g not going do much. Im been asking for insert weights for the shafts, Easton does not make them.

DAMN 16% is a lot. that would punch threw brick with the arrow that you shoot! haha. but if he is at 14% with the 125g tips, he will notice a difference for sure.

Yeah well that was kind of the point. Wanted to build the heaviest hitting arrows I could.

I had plans in the work to build a 535 grain 21% FOC arrow for a hog hunt this summer but I postponed it till next year. Might still do it just for fun but my current arrows are flying great.

Bowtech 360 maxed at 72# 29.5 draw shooting 496g FMJ at 295fps. 29in. I shoot out to 70yrds 10inch group im happy with there. I shoot 45-50 almost daily, good grouping for me Baseball size or so. But lately I thought ive noticed some weird flight going on. Still hitting good, just once in awhile ill see the fletch fishtail some. I switched to deep six fmj with 330 spine. I wanted to try stiffer spine and more weight up front. Well that shaft is so small its hard to find a 125g head. Im fletching some up now to see what happens. The 9% foc is not cool tho. So any advice you have will help! im 150$ deep on the deep six shafts so I really don't want drop anymore on other arrows this close to season

I think that if you start adding any kind of tip weight you'll be underspined. You're borderline now. Aggressive bow, over 70 pounds, long arrows means you should go to a heavier spine. I'm thinking 300. Now it's probably not what you want I hear, but if you decide you want to pursue higher FOC it's your best choice. Try and find a light weight 300 spine and get to your target weight by adding weight to the point or insert.

I want to hear sound advise, so if it means I need to change it up then so be it. So thank you. 300 spine in fmj is a heavy arrow. 12plus gpi. I'll fletch few up and see what happends. Sucks deep six fmj don't make a 300 spine. Thanks all!

Well it's even harder to get high FOC on heavy GPI arrows. If you like the small diameter shaft, VAP makes shafts the same diameter as deep six FMJs, and they are very light allowing you to put all the weight at the tip and get great FOC.

And I'm also pretty sure you can get 100 grain inserts for the VAPs
