    middle GA bucks typically avg 150# to 180# on the hoof I killed one a couple years ago that was 201# live weight scored 145 3/4..

    220 dressed for me, shot one in IL last year and never got to weigh it.. He was easily over 200 dressed as well.

    I remember seeing a deer in a taxi shop that was killed in ILL. That had a live wght.of 430 lb it had a plaque posted with it. Looked like a cow.

    185 dressed is my biggest to date that I know of. Also the only deer I've ever weighed.

    Mine from this year was 260 dressed. I'd assume that puts him over 300 live. The roll of meat between his hide and esophogus was thicker than his backstraps...crazy

    My dad tells of a road kill buck back in the day here in southern il that maxed out a 300 lb scale and its head and neck was still on the ground. He says it was a giant... Would have loved to see that deer.
