I believe moderation is like religion.

The world would be a better place without it.

 

I believe in God, heaven, hell, and the creation. I believe in evolution in that animals change, but I don't believe animals can change from one kind to another. In that sence of the term evolution is just another religion, there is no proof an animal can bring forth another animal, also no proof everything was created from the big bang, just like there is no proof there is a god. All ideas about where we came from are religion, believe in something we cannot prove.

 

Can we please get back to our civil discussion........or don't post?

Were these agreements struck in PM....and referenced in the forum?

So far I've found these threads to be very entertianing & civil. Despite me not sharing my thoughts, it is interesting to read those who do.

Looks like something got zapped from this one, but that happens.

I will say one thing, I took 2 religion courses in college (had to) and they were some of the more interesting courses I took. One was Judeo-christian scriptures and the other was a study of basically all religion in general, with a bit of focus on the bigger eastern religions. Those courses pretty much sealed the deal in my mind regarding the beliefs I held about religion.

 

I believe in God, Heaven, Hell and that evolution was by God's hand. I also believe Duke may be having a bad day, but seriously doubt his posts or those of others are gay. You see, I dont think an inanimate object, such as a post on an internet thread can have any real sexual orientation. In fact, I dont think it has any true feelings at all. Now, a post can bring a happy or "gay" message. A post can also bring a sad or melancholy tone, but the post itself really had no clue about its content. Therefore, I just dont subscribe to the idea that a post can be gay.

 

That's what I like to see. Cheeky and fun with no disrespect towards another member.
