I'm headed to Western Kansas in December for a rifle hunt. Weather can be brutal that time of year. Most of the hunt will be from ground blinds and I'm looking for a good portable heater. Purchased a little buddy heater from wally world the other day. It took ten minutes to light. After I let it run for about another ten minutes I shut it off and tried to restart it. Won't turn back on...Going to return it. Anyone have any advice on a good, quiet portable propane heater?

You could just exchange for another Little Buddy. Mine. works great. It may be worth another try. Justa thought.

Little buddy is probably the best. They can be finicky to light if theres too much breeze on them ornot enough oxygen.

My buddy heater has worked flawlessly for going on 3 years. You may have just got a lemon.

I was wondering if I was setting myself up! Haha! The heater is mainly for my girlfriend we will be hunting separate blinds. If she gets cold my hunt gets shorter. Anyone who hunts with their significant other knows what i'm talking about!:whip:

I use the short Coleman cans with the reflector that looks like a parabolic dish antenna.
Works great and little or no noise.
