not to sound like an old person in a home but im looking for a good electric blanket.

Our camper for hunting has pretty lousy heating and basically just knocks the chill off and we are on a limit electrical set up do to the amount of campers we have. Im not worried about buying a new furnace or added space heaters that pull a lot more electricity. A few of the heated blankets im seeing only pull like 130-180 watts which isnt bad at all.

I really dont want to sleep in base layers, sweats, and beanies along with 3 and 4 blankets anymore... It got really cold a few nights last year. I think a simple heated blanket would be a good and easy solution but i dont want a cheap one that will stop working well 3 weeks after getting it.

Anybody use a heated blanket they would recommend?

The only ones I've had were Sunbeams from Walmart. They work great for a few months then slowly fade out. If only used occasionally for staying in the camper, you may get a few seasons out of one though.

It is never recommended to sleep all night with heated blankets on. They are basically designed to warm the bed up before you go to sleep. We have one for our bed in the lodge. We turn it on right before bed to take the chill out and switch it off when we turn our nightstand lights off.

Get a bigger comforter and preheat your bed, you should be good with that.

We've had ours for 6 years or so and got it at Pamida, before Shopko bought them all out. I think it was $40 or so.

I would just get more blankets and stay away from the heated ones
