3.5 8 pt. Nothing big came out. I was happy for that hate letting big ones walk. I can only shoot doe. Best buck i had to let walk was a mid 150s. not on this farm but another friends few year ago. i filmed him at 16 yards durning gun hunting. I do what land owners tell me to do. i like shooting big bucks, but i love deer meat so that why i hunt those places for doe only. Just was a great night watching deer.
Wow...thats some restraint there but if you have to follow the landowners which can open up hunting for bucks on that property if your nice enough.

went sunday saw some deer nothing close. will not be hunting much the next couple weeks. Roofing house and than cutting some wood. if i get out i'll let you know. so if i don't post that why.
4 more days till our opener. I checked my trail cameras Saturday and it seems all my big bucks have disappeared, but hopefully they just got camera shy and are still around. If not, I'll be looking to put down the first doe that comes by to fill the freezer. Good luck to anyone else who is going out this week/weekend.
I have been scouting some new dirt I acquired and will be setting some stands this weekend. Iowa opens on Oct. 1 and where I am hunting it is game on! Good luck to all!

Had roof done by noon. Went hunting sat night and pulled my card. Hunt went good saw some does and 2 bucks. here are the 2 bucks that i had on the cam. Hope they show themself in daylight hours.
