wow that was a good one. and no im not the deer police. but I am the guy that looks for people that like to be dishonest and cheat because they cant follow simple rules. So again before you make it worse for yourself and your team talk to fitz about your pics before everyone else sees it and you guys get labeled as cheaters. So if your going to keep up the attitude I think twice about who you are giving too
I gotta go with michael_pearce on this one. Not cool to encourage a teammate to cheat, although I highly doubt it was anything more than just a misconception that something this small is a big enough deal and honestly doesn't probably reflect anyone's true character. However, in the scorecard thread it is very obvious the picture is the same, flipped and cropped...the shadows cannot lie...unless the sun completely shifted position during a matter of a second because your grip on the deer is the same, the flap in your hat is the same and every grass and branch is position the same just a mirror image. If your friend did in fact take a picture just upload and be done with it. If not just admit it to Fitz and let him decide. Like you said it's just a doe. I'd say let Fitz make the call and live with it either way....it is just a free for fun tournament. Either way congrats and liked the story of how you took her....would have been crazy to get another arrow nocked in time! :D
3. All entries must be accompanied by a minimum of TWO (2) photos of the hunter with the deer and your archery equipment in the picture. If you can manage to take one picture, you can also manage to move 4 feet to the side and take another one. It's not that hard. There will be NO exceptions to this rule. Two photos with hunter, deer, and bow in photo or it won't count. If you submit a deer without two photos, it will not count. Consider this your warning. This goes for both does as well as bucks.
I agree tymiller. I was just trying to help him so he didnt look bad since his first post was clearly that he knew he forgot the pic. but because of his response it is making me second guess it now
First, Bowhunter29 is not even our teamate so please don't judge the rest of our team as cheaters because he decided to encourage Jato to cheat. Second, I agree with michael_pearce and tynimiller. I understand you can get caught up in the rush and forget to take a second pic. Last year there were a few exceptions to this rule so it wouldn't hurt to try. Worse comes to worse, Fitz doesn't allow it and we move on. It's nothing to get upset over, it's just a for-fun contest.
That is sadly I even failed to notice, that is very refreshing to know for sure. I give Jato props though, he removed the one pic, and I hope his friend does in fact have another picture for him....for fun or no fun I hate to see guys not get points for a brain slip (although I understand you can't let rules slip because then they fall!).

Gents... take a deep breath.... Now, if a second pic cannot be added, the doe will not count. However, for does it doesn't have to be your first, so if able, he could enter a second doe with TWO pics. As far as using photos shop to "create" a second photo, that's a whole other ball game. Anyone caught trying to dupe the system will be DQ'd, any very likely banned. I too have photo shop, and went to UMD for graphic design... I'll be able to tell, like how the posted picture is a mirror image of the one posted in this thread. Now I'll also be paying particular attention to team 4 & Mr. 29.

The worst part about this whole situation is he still must not have thought he did anything wrong. Look at the what he wrote for the reason he edited the cheating photos..."Last edited by Jato4x4; 09-11-2012 at 09:21 AM. Reason: Mrs Kravitz pearce". So it is edited because Michael is the nosy neighbor not because he cheated.
I'll give Jato credit though, unless he fought it in pms he "manned up" and took it down without much of an argument once he realized what the rules said. (we got our own picture issue right now on a large Mulie a teammate shot....ugh)
