Opening day here in Michigan is October 1st. I may be possibly doing some early doe in the last week of September!
My season starts September 15th. My realistic goals are a doe and buck in RI, and a 130" or higher in Illinois, which are both realistic! What's everyone do for work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Season starts Sept. 12th here in Maine.. My goals are a doe and any decent mature buck here. Illinois is 130'' or better. The last two years there I've put a 160'' down and lost one that was atleast 160'' as well. Killed a 80'' and change the last afternoon last year there.. I work at a paper mill, oldest running paper machine in the country is what I work on. I also cut firewood, and do some light construction on the side. Along with make duck decoys and paracord archery slings. As far as team name, Chris it sounds like we may have to do the ol throw the names in the hat trick!
If everyone is okay with the names i've listed above then I will throw them all in a hat and choose. I'll try to make a video out of it so you all can see it. My goals are 5 does and 1 120+ buck. I've got a part of the farm that gets really heavy browse pressure in our bean field, so it's time to start thinning the does out. I'm 25 years old, born and raised in NC. As for work. I'm an Electrical Designer at an Engineering Firm full time. I am also wrapping up my bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering at NC State University, so I take classes every semester. Other than that, October 25th will be my 1 year anniversary with my beautiful wife. We're expecting our first child on January 8 2016, we couldn't be more excited! It's going to be a fun packed filled year for us and yall get a front row seat to it haha

The name doesn't matter to me. We could be the nameless Team 3 for all that it matters...lol. As for what I do? I work in emergency medical billing. I bill ambulance transports and nonemergency transports (Though I do scheduling, insurance verification, etc, too). Recently got this job and really enjoy it (I used to bill for a couple medical offices) - the hours are great and it's looking as though next year I may be getting a promotion! /crossesfingers.
I'll be on my property in WI this weekend.. Looking forward to pulling some cameras and scoping out some velvet bucks. Here are a couple bucks that are on the watch list.
Last year was pretty amazing for me... I killed a South Dakota Antelope (spot & stock with a decoy), 200+ pound boar, a cool looking whitetail buck and a doe. This year I hope to add a Caribou and a Sitka buck to the list..
Nor me. Only killed 2 foxes. 1 red fox and a gray... while I was trapping. Last year was a rough deer season.
Every year a bunch of guys get together and go on a pig hunt at one of our local ranches (superior game ranch).. they give us a deal and we all take our bows and just try to fill the freezer with pork for the season. Good times.!
