    I have a question guys...

If I was to shoot a doe this weekend, that would be +50 points. But we're only allowed 2 deer. So in the event, later in the season I kill a mature buck, can I replace that with my doe or fergie buck???

I believe your first buck is your total buck score. Cannot be replaced.

I will be heading out tonight, also. Hope I can get this headache to go away within the next hour.

Good luck to all going out this weekend! I am at work until 9:30PM tonight, then headed 4 hours north to bird hunt tomorrow with a couple buddies. I'll be back at it Monday!

Fridays must not be a good day to hunt for me. Go to get dressed and my long johns aren't in the tote. This will be a cold sit!

Wear some sweat pants under the hunting clothes! Sometimes that just enough to keep the chills off me.

    Good luck tonight!

Soaking wet. It's pouring. Husband missed an 8, ducked his arrow. Going to get card viewer to make sure - he had a go pro on. I had three deer walking by stand when I got in. Getting closer. Tomorrow morning might be good if rain stops.

No deer last night. It definately ducked it. Woke up today - it's pouring. Worse than last night. Not risking it, so going duck hunting.

Spent the other evening in the ground blind. Passed on a button buck. Seems like I just can't get the right deer in front of me.

Saw my first buck of the year this morning!! Small forkie. Had him all around my stand licking evercalm I put out. Could have easily taken him, even grabbed my bow, but I let him go! I'll be heading out tomorrow morning for the kill!

Man sounds like all saw some good action today. I didn't see anything on the morning sit, I made a rookie mistake and didn't clear out my path from last year to the stand, and I broke more sticks than a tornado would. Haha, oh well, it was a beautiful crisp morning.

The wife and I didn't hunt this afternoon. I actually purposed we go out and take a night for ourselves rather than (her giving all) and going hunting with me. We enjoyed a good steak at a local steakhouse and then went and took pictures out at the lake. A good night over all.

Good luck tomorrow to whoever goes out! The cold front will be producing low 30s around these parts in the morning. Oughta be good for those in the woods.

Sounds like a great night! My wife and I did the same, nice Filet at outback steakhouse then came home! Decided to spend the morning with her this morning. I got up round 430, 26 degrees frost dead calm, but I knew the right thing to do was to spend the morning with her, especially with my trip coming up in 2 weeks. I might make it out this afternoon not to sure.

Sounds like me and you are learning, together, the REAL important things in life. It's hard sometimes haha but there is ALWAYS another day to hunt, there's not always another day for the wifey. And even thought i'm a newly wed (next sunday is our 1 year), I know the joys and feelings is much more rewarding when i'm with the wife than any hunting trip I could ever do.

How'd everyone's weekend finish? I didn't do any deer hunting. Saturday was just unfavorable weather in the morning - then I went out of town for the night. Was going to hunt NY Sunday morning, but it was a late night and I did not want to get up early. Have a meeting tonight - so hoping to make it out tomorrow after work.

4 sits ~ 60 deer, zero bucks over 1.5 years old... Pulled cameras and got some good bucks like usual. I think I am done bow hunting until November

I can honestly say I don't think I've seen even 30 deer in the woods my last four years hunting!!

    That's crazy!

Didn't get to a deer stand this weekend.. Did shoot my limit of grouse on Saturday (4 birds). It snowed a few inches Friday night into Saturday, and never got above 35 degrees all day! Was a good day to bird hunt thats for sure! Not sure if I will get out this afternoon or not, the cable company is supposed to come hook up cable and internet so it depends on when they show up...
