    Good luck hunting and fishing!

I got a text that the enclosed trailer we use for our racecar (was my in-laws-they sold it to my aunt) is being picked up tomorrow. Unfortunately it is FULL of racecar parts, tires, etc. etc. So, now I have to unload that. I am going hunting - so I'm going to run home for my half hour lunch and unload some, then do the rest tonight after dark. People always ruin my plans. Maybe a deer will ruin them tonight and make me not able to do unload it!

Thank you! Something has got to give me a shot sooner or later. I went out at lunch time and it was still sprinkling. I am hoping that it'll clear up and make something move tonight!

100+ blackbirds above my head gets annoying real quick.

Jumped a deer walking in 30 yards from my stand eating apples.

Nothing. Worst part, one small four point and a squirrel is all that was on camera this past week.

Jumping to my other stand tomorrow evening. It's on the edge of a corn field. Maybe I'll catch them coming out from feeding. We're at a loss right now. Not sure what to think!

Keep at it Kristen! Sooner or later you'll get a shot. I'm feeling the pressure now too. Been on 3 sits now and only seen 2 deer on the first sit, right at dark, when it was to dark to tell what they were.

Headed out tomorrow morning. I'll keep yall up to day and how it goes!

It is still early, just the sign is not there. Seems to be a common problem for a lot of people.

    Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks guys! We did have a big wedding party, as you can all count (I assume ;P) we had 10 each! And it was awesome!! We also had roughly 240 people at our wedding!! Lindsey is a very popular woman haha!!

Good luck to all tomorrow, I'll be headed out in the afternoon. On my last night shift tonight so I'll be hitting the hay as the sun comes up.

Congrats on your first buck, Chris! I was able to sit for one afternoon over a hay field. Had several does out but unfortunately for me they were out of range. Towards the end of the night I had a buck come through at 25 yards and I got to full draw on him and was ready to shoot until I realized he was missing one side...Needless to say he got the pass. Exciting sit nevertheless :tu:

    LOL was thinking the same!!

Debating on going out this afternoon. I'm battling a cold and it's moved to my chest. I really really want to run and gun today, find some green acorns on the ground hang and hunt! To me that's my favorite type of hunting. I have permission to hunt on and adjoining property to mine of 100 acres, but I rarely go on it because I like the satisfaction of hunting my own piece of land.
I guess I'll give it a few hours and see how I feel, but with a runny nose occasional sneeze and cough, not to sure how successful I'll be.

I'm sorry to keep all in the suspense! This weekend was an extremely busy weekend haha. As yall knew, I was heading down to the coast on Sunday (at 3am). We finished processing the deer at 11pm on Saturday night. I got back at 10pm last night, so needless to say I literally haven't been by a computer.

So here we go with the story...next post!
