Well, always good when a doctor likes something. I'll hope for the best with you! Although you have history of tag soup - I think that's to change this year!

Everything happens for a reason... maybe this will somehow lead to shooting a big ol buck... somehow...

That's been my motto my whole life! "Everything happens for a reason" I'm so overdue in Illinois! Thanks for all the support guys! I'm leaning towards the PSE stinger or surge. I also should look into 40-50# limbs for the anarchy!

Pulled cards today so I could swap out batteries for the last time on a couple cams and hang the plot watcher at the big field.
Getting lots of pics of this dude. He's no shooter but he will be in a couple years!!

Unfortunately a lot of these are starting to show up on my cams. Gonna have to pull out the savage 223 after the season is over and get dirty on some dogs!

put a camera in an new spot last weekend. I think I'll wait one more week before checking it. It in a location I had a ladder stand 'grow legs' and walk away so I don't want to leave it out too long.

Plan on checking my other one this weekend. Hoping there is something to get me excited. these are from the last pull.

Depending when the appraiser gets to my house this afternoon, checking cameras today! I'm anxious to see what's on them.

So I'm tossing around the idea of heading out to western ND to chase some Mule deer. I already have a tag but was previously planning on hunting whitetails in eastern ND

Cameras were out since 4th of July weekend....batteries died two weeks later. Crap. But, deer sign looks great in the woods. Very excited.

It's taking too long to attach pictures. But, my camera is 20 yards from stand. I'm thinking I will at least have a doe. But, I have some legal (and for my first buck by bow I'm not picky) and two nice bucks.

Looks good Kristen! Happy Friday to all.

Hope things get better for ya swamp! You oughta get you a crossbow, so you don't keep pouring salt on the wound. You'll be able to reach out a little further distances too.

I plan on checking one can this weekend guys and spray my "clover" plots. Mostly grasses in them right now haha

    Anyone ever maintain clover plots?

I have two that are going to be my "hope" bucks. They're in the area, I had them on camera two days, but with it dying after two weeks - not sure if they're still around. But we have everything in our hunting square to keep them there. Last year a nice one was on my camera all year, then hunting season comes around and my husband shoots him on the back of the property - so who knows! One is an 8 or 9 the other is at least a 10 - with one side being a goofy 6. I doubt I'll put the camera back out - I know there are deer there so we'll just leave it alone until opening day.

Little over a month to wait. Going to start practicing 30-35 yards (I don't care to shoot that far) - but one of my best openings on this deer trail is about 30. So, going to see how it goes!
