I know we're always debating modern country vs old school country here, so I thought I would let you guys listen to this (if you haven't heard it yet). A little modern with a little older flare to it I think (seeing as it is a Waylon cover). The album doesn't release until the 1st, so I couldn't find a full version of it anywhere, but just click the play button next to the track to preview it. What do you guys think? Click "Rose in Paradise"
Chris Young has a great voice and he sings that song well. That is one of my favorite Waylon songs......pretty cool.
I like his style, have for a little while. Its hard to find guys that sing like this now, if yall got anymore new guys that sound like this let me know, but this guy sounds like the old school stuff I like.
Writes his some of his own music as well. Rare breed these days. He also does it without the aid of "magic" substances
Here's an awesome singer for you boys! Jamey Johnson! I love this guy because he is not a Lee Press On Cowboy like most of the pukes in country music these days. This ole boy looks like someone that would be sitting in my local bar back home sipping some whiskey! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUM9EnoN5-g
Yep, Jamey is a good singer, my favorite style and his tone is good, redneck side of me is my favorite song that he has done so far ( I cant recall if he wrote this or covered it though, because flynville train has the same song, another good band by the way)
