I currently have a Orion headcamp in white and green and the claim is that the deer cannot see
the green light it omits. I like them both and they attach easily to my hat and are very light.
The battery life so far as lasted me since last season and with little bit of use around the house.
Of course my youngest son Known as Frog_slayer on the forums also likes to play with it a bit.lol

10 dollars, hat clip cabelas , i got a green light camo outline, ....i bought 2 of them , and they are the brightest little lights...they clip on , and dont have to worry about them again, until you need them.

i really would recommend this......I used to use a head lamp, but always felt like something was there, and bothered me....with this head clamp you dont!

It's a little over your budgeted amount but this is the headlamp I use [Click Here]. I've used the one's that clip on the cap and several other brands of headlamps, IMHO this is by far the best one I've owned.

I use the Energizer head lamp that you can buy a Walmart for around $12. Three white light brightness settings and one red for night vision. Works for me and didn't spend a fortune.

I went with the energizer lamp (from walmart 14.88). 6 led's, 36 lumens(kinda low). It will serve its purpose. I went with this style because most of the time i wear my hat backwards. The clip-on style wouldnt work for me.

i am a die hard raccoon hunter at night with my dogs, and a head lamp is very important, and i dont have alot of money, i have a light that is very very bright, 3 different types of power and red, it is energyser 45 lumins 15 dollars at meijer, menards, or target, this light is amazing, and i think it is the best for price
