Taking 1/2 of vacation, picking my daughter up as soon as school lets out and heading out for the evening for a couple hour sit. Looking like a beautiful afternoon to be in the woods. High temps around 49 degrees, WNW wind less than 5mph, perfect for the area I have setup with a ladder stand for her to sit in with my hang on next to it. Most leaves have dropped except for the Oaks.

Daughter is 10 and shows interest, but haven't had a deer come by when I have her with me. Hoping to change that soon so she doesn't get bored and loses interest. Will be a little warmer over the weekend but have family events Sat. which will keep us from being in the woods. Sunday will have chance for more seat time.

Doe tag waiting to be filled.

Wish you both lots of luck and prayers for a safe hunt.

Good luck! Leaves being mostly gone should help prevent her from getting too bored with more area to constantly scan.
