    I go up in that neck of the woods every year. Here's where we've gone the last 3 years. We'll be there starting June 13th and leave the following Saturday. Looks like our boats are better than yours, we have actual seats. LOL Our package includes all meals, maid service, boat and live bait if you want. Shore lunch kits are put in your boat if you want. When you hit the dock they take your fish and do what you want with them. If you tell them to save me a couple for shore lunch, the fish, fixins, stove etc are in the boat next morning when you hit it. We're on an Island that really illiminates 99 percent of the normal Canadian bugs. LOL
    Here's the link. We're just East of you. We're west of New Liskeard. In fact, we'll spend the Friday night of the 12th in New Liskeard. http://island10.com/

    I hope you're eating some fabulous Walleye filets as we speak! My dad is going to Lake Minnitake on the 6th for two weeks!

    We're real close. We're on Lady Evelyn Lake which is about 10 miles west of New Liskead. We drive to a little man made dock on the Monreal River. We take a short ferry on a small barge to a dam, walk a few hundred yards and catch a boat that takes us the last 35-40 minutes to Island 10. In all, we probably end up 20 miles West of New Liskeard.

    My butt couldn't have handled it, Dan :d

    We had an absolute blast, guys. We caught fish ... not like I would have hoped, but enough to gorge ourselves everyday on it and to bring home a bunch ....

    Biggest fish;

    Walleye - 7 lbs & 4lbs ...and lots of smaller ones
    Smallmouth - 5lb and 4 lb ... and plenty of 2-3 pounders
    Northern Pike - 4lb and TONS of 1-2 pounders .... we caught the most Northerns, but they were the smallest ... it was hard keeping the little ones of the lures ... I really wanted a MONSTER Northern :confused:

    The best part was the scenery and the Moose we saw ...also a bear ..... the sound of the loons in the morning ....not having a cell phone signal ....just total relaxation .....

    back to the grind today, tho :cry:

    David, I check those guys out .... what an awesome set-up you go to .... I wish I had more cash to do that trip ..... one day, maybe :d

    Dub ..... the 5 and 4 pound smallies were so sweet from the waters up there!!! The walleye had very little flavor ... it just took on the taste of the seasoning ... but the bass.... my soul, they were good!!! Tha cold Canadian water really makes a difference ... a 21" bass in Erie can taste awfully muddy if you dont clean EVERTHING that is not fleshh off of the fillets ...
