Heading to down to GA for my first hog hunt, very low expectations. Plan is to set up camp, walk until dark, return to camp, repeat for 3 days. Any tips tricks or advice are appreciated. if its hot I plan on walking creek bottoms and if its cool I plan on walking everywhere haha.

Can't answer your questions but friend has taken some nice hogs. You might say she is addicted. Good luck!

Sounds fun! I have never hunted pigs, but have always wanted to. I would say treat it like deer spot and stalk. Look for fresh sign that's less then 24 hours old. Slow way down once you find it and play the wind. Good luck! Also watch for snakes this time of year, they will be loaded around those swamps!
