Headed to Missouri in the morning to hunt for 8 days. It will be worth the 18 hour drive. Has anyone had any luck up there? Any rut action yet?
I'm in NW MO, and haven't seen any chasing yet. But I've heard some pretty aggressive fighting over the weekend. I'm starting to see more rubs and they are starting to work my mock scrapes.
I've been seeing a few more dead along the interstates. Mainly I70 and hwy63, & 61. So far they've all been smaller 1 or 2 year olds. I did see a headless deer south of STL Tuesday but those guys will eat anything. On a side note, MO duck season opens this Saturday, so those deer will be running wide around any of those popular waterfowl places, if you are lucky enough to be hunting at any of them. I love four rivers deer hunting.

The last 4 days have been awesome for seeing deer. Until Halloween the deer were like david copperfield. Gone. Now they are everywhere. I'm an hour from KC on I-70. Good Luck.
