This afternoon my wife Casi, and I head north to Canada. We have an 8 day deer hunt planned in Ontario with our friends Dan & Jill Schafer. I haven't been to Canada for a few years, and it'll be Casi's 1st time. Never deer hunted outside of the state of Kansas, so it should be quite the experience... hunting the Big Woods! Hopefully when it's all said & done we'll be able to post up some pics of some big woods bucks! Stay tuned!

Jill and I are looking forward to it in a big way! Tomorrow I officially close camp and start hunting hard. We've got some awesome spots set up and some deer should be hitting the ground hard over the next week. Hey, make sure you don't get here too early.....Jill and I will be in the bow stand!!!

Hey Joe, Dan most definately does not like Grey Goose! :smash: Temps are looking good for the next few days. Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s and lows at night around 28. As I'm sitting here now, the sun is hitting an ash tree and leaves are falling like mad. The bush has really opened up over the last few days. Should be a phenomenal hunt!
