Dunked an ace tonight on the 191 yard par 3. Drew a 6 iron in over the bunker front right, one hop and a little roll to the center hole location and vanished to the bottom of the cup! Beers on the house!

I did the same thing today. And then I woke up. LOL I did come terribly close a couple times if you can call 3 or 4 inches close. In both cases I held back so I wouldn't have to buy all the mooches a beer. Congrats Ken. If I did that... I'd still shoot 90. LOL

He's a professional. Those guys are good. LOL I remember the first time I played golf with my nephew. He was a scratch golfer at age 12. Anyway, he hit an iron of the tee but pulled it just enough to get behind a hedgerow blocking his view to the green. I said... NOW what. He said, I'm about 245. I'm going to hook a 4 iron and should be good. Well this green was about the size of my dining room table. It was also built up. So he takes a swing and I watch as he sticks it about 4 feet from the flag. He had a birdie... I took a 7. LOL He got full ride scholarship offers everywhere. Unfortunately, he choose a school with higher academic standards. He was NOT a scholar. He made the playing team at Ga Tech his first fall and was on probation there after and not able to play. He's a successful businessman today... but he really missed a chance. He plays rarely now... but when he does... he's shooting below par or close to it.

That's my 9th hole in one in my life.

After a short celebration and high fives to playing partners, back to business and started thinking about the wind and and my tee shot on #4. Played so so the rest of the round. Was going on 30 or so hours of no sleep with the storm cleanup. Ended up 3 under overall.

Yeah ... I took a little off :lmao:

the game of gold itself amazes me! most things do cause i suck at them, but then when i see someone doing well at it i grow more and more appreciative of what others can do. more so sports than anything else. how do you put a small ball in a hole in the ground over 400yds away at varying distances consistently? amazing!

Congrats, I've been playing for 22 years, and only once did I accompolish this feat. And I did'nt see it go in the hole. 155 yard uphill par 3. Hit a solid 8 iron. I knew it hit the green. Walked up and did'nt see my ball. Looked in the sand traps, the rough on the back of the green. Could not find it. My wife walks up to the hole and finds it at the bottom of the cup.
