I'll get them up today. I could now but my cam with memory card is at the golf course/hunting lodge. Been pretty hectic around the ole deer camp lately. Deer falling at alarming rates. Been dragging, butchering, sausage making, etc... non stop everyday.
Well, yeah! How hard can it be to kill deer at a golf course? They will practically eat out of your hand.
Well here he is with his first ever deer. Check out dads old hand me down camo duds! I've seen this buck in bow season a few times. Kind of a secluded area on our land that doesn't get much gun pressure (one of the few). I have a stand about 10 yards away from where we hunkered down in our natural ground blind that I made for us the last week of bow season planning ahead so we could sit together there. At the top of a hill with a hayfield behind us and looking down to the creek bottom below us. p.s. edit............. I typed out the rest of the story (which is pretty good) and something messed up and didn't post. Try to revise later..... taco time.
Thanks everyone. I'm thrilled he shot that buck. I can't believe that's his first deer ever. I think mine was about a 77lb. fawn lol. Back at it this weekend with him. That's all he's been talking about all week.
