This is basically the type of situation I'm talking about, but I guess fletch can't foresee that ever happening to him. Which is fine, as long as he doesn't join the lawless.
I am just guessing here, but if we have a Katrina like situation, and I have to defend my home. I am guessing the first one I kill and is laying in my yard will be a pretty good deterrent. Ar15, shotgun or handgun, one shot may due.
Perhaps. Either way you can't give me one good reason I shouldn't have an AR. I'm am a law abiding citizen that is interested in using one for a sporting purpose. Which is what 99.99 percent of AR owners are using them for.
Well why can I not have a tomahawk cruise missile? I am a law abiding citizen? Also back in the late 1800 could a civilian own a Gatling gun? I don't know,
[h=1]My Thoughts On The Gunited States Of America[/h] December 20, 2012 · by MM · in Uncategorized. · The Senseless Killings of all those school children and teachers is obviously one of the worst things to ever happen in our country. What is worse is the stupidity of the gun-clutchers, spouting ridiculousness like this- “Obama brainwashed this autistic kid so that he could have an excuse to take all of our guns away.” I will admit that I have a super man crush on Obama, but one of the issues i have with him is that he has been mute on is gun control. He let the assault weapons ban expire- If you are not educated on assault weapons, they are compact rifles that shoot giant magazines of large caliber rounds as fast as you can squeeze the trigger. That means that you can essentially send a wall of hot metal towards a target and each huge bullet slows down on impact leaving a massive exit wound, ensuring that whatever you shot is dead. An Assault Weapon is the type of weapon that our autistic super villain used to chew up a bus load of school children. Obama Now gets motivated to push legislation on these weapons. We really need to outlaw these guns. There, I said it. I am a comic and it’s been rumored that I am completely crazy, so you can ignore me, but I am right. This probably won’t happen until another 8 bus loads of kids are murdered, or we have a full scale war with our government, but I will get into that in a moment. First, an explanation of why we are where we are. We have painted ourselves into a corner with the 2nd amendment. Amendment is a word that we often forget means that they altered the constitution. They did this at a time when if you wanted to rise up against a tyrannical government, you could do so, with enough minute men and munitions- in the form of single shot muskets. I hear your arguments already. “Guns don’t kill people…” That argument is ridiculous. A gun is only a Tool to bring death. “…people kill people.” Yes, this is true, but an autistic little nerd doesn’t stab more than 2 school children before he is clobbered by the burly school janitor, or is pepper sprayed by the lesbian art teacher. “If you outlaw guns, then only outlaws will have guns.” I honestly feel safer that way. I know where criminals hang out, so i don’t hang out around there. I know there would be a turbulent time getting all the guns off of the streets, but when word gets out that Lil’ Boozie got locked up for Life for that liquor store hit, I bet a lot of mothers would fish their sons guns out of their underwear drawers and turn them in. “Obama is trying to take our guns away so that the government can control us! We need our guns to fight them!” Glad you got to this one, Rambo. Let uncle mayhem explain something to you: Nowadays the government has spy drones, tactical nukes, high speed armored personnel carriers, and small teams of violent animals that are maxed out with scientific technology and specifically trained and primed for death bringing. I know some of the bad mother****ers personally, and the skills they have are unreal. A small team of 6-8 elite commandos could more than likely take over your neighborhood in one day, despite your vallint efforts with your grandpappy’s shotgun. As badass as everyone in America believes themselves to be, ask yourself if a foreign or domestic army were to Really invade, would you have the guts to build roadside bombs, fill sandbags in momma’s garden and become a “terrorist” in order to kill this occupying force? As a child of the south, I grew up quite familiar with a wide range of weapons, and as the son of an infantryman, I was versed in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of handguns and rifles. I also learned many tactics used by the US army, because of classified field manuals left around my home during the years that I read the most books. My family has been in America longer than than America has existed, and we’ve been fighting in wars and killing other dumbasses that have no other marketable skills than to die and murder for country. I would feel pretty at home shooting at a foreign invader as it’s all my family has known for at least the past 400 years, but I know that this is a Hell that no people should be subject to. I wish for an America with no guns-the cops too-40,000 watt tazers are danger enough. Now back to that corner that we painted ourselves into… Because we have had guns in this country since before its inception, and there have been aggressive animals like myself prepared to do whatever it takes to protect the lands that we love, we hold the constitution in such high regard-Biblical for some people-we are at a point that the laws of yesterday now govern Today. If you say, “We should outlaw guns,” you are immediately be cited as an un-American pussy, that does not know the meaning of the almighty 2nd Amendment. Even if you note that today, technology has provided a number of non-lethal and less than lethal devices that could protect your family home without giving your autistic son a method to permanently settle a dispute at the elementary school-And start this whole debate again, for the first time. That’s what really bothered me-is seeing conservative talking heads say, Again, that this is not the time to open the debate. When is a proper time to open the debate? When Their children are torn to shreds by bullets fired from the same weapon that the US Army carries into our unnecessary wars. Since when is owning an instrument of death considered freedom, anyway? If that’s the case, then I demand that I am able to own some mortars. I have a squirrel problem. So lets review-unnecessary murder of children, with weapons that are not needed for home defense, an outdated amendment that we cling onto because of some fear of a government taking us over, who could take us over if they wanted to, anyway. Sure, call me crazy person, call me Aspergers, call me liberal pansy ***, but I am right. The true power is in Knowledge, and if you don’t know by now, our military industrial complex runs this country, keeps this gun culture thriving, and keeps you terrified so that you buy more weapons from walmart, and remain holed up in your hoarder home, buying junk you don’t need to impress people you don’t like. Lets just hope you don’t also have autism; we don’t need you further disconnected from the reality you live in… Mayhem Interesting read by Jason Miller, Ex UFC fighter. Shows the thoughts from the "other" side.
If you've ever listened to him on the Jason Ellis show, you would know he is the LAST person you should listen to on any subject let alone something as cerebrally challenging as gun control.
Using the word "interesting" was not intended to imply that I put any merit into his thoughts... lol. I hope that is obvious from reading the article... But shows the kind of people we are up against....
Problem is, his thought process is the same as many of those making the decisions. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
NO! I forgot to leave whiskey on the good list. We cant ban it. Maybe limit its availability to 10 ounce bottles, but no ban.. Sorry. I do enjoy a little Crown or Templeton Rye once in a while. You do know that you are a sitting duck with that muzzleloader right? For crying out loud, your gonna make the rest of us gun toters look like a bunch of panty wearing girls if you dont load up the truck with real guns........nube.
I'm not much of a joiner. The worst its gonna get here is when the neighbors cat poops in the other neighbors sandbox. They get so pissed. Might not even wave at each other for a day or two. But, this is a pretty rough neighborhood for the Midwest. I'm confident the shotgun will do....
What pressure, if anything the pressure of "what if a maniac comes in here and starts shooting" would be a worry to me. Carrying a gun in public is no "pressure" to some people, and when you see the people you are with every day dying before your eyes or being jacked up the only pressure most folks would feel is trigger pressure. IMHO. And Texas is very Gun Savvy, Just Saying.
Brilliant! Lets take this one step further and patent a "dead guy" decoy. Leave it in the attic until Obama declares Martial Law and then throw that sucker out in the front yard. Nobody gonna mess with the house with a "dead guy" in the yard. AND, we could make one that looks like a trespasser or poacher and throw 'em out at our favorite hunting spots! I smell MONEY!!! Just imagine how many AR's we could buy. Stickin' it to the man, baby. Sorry about all the exclamation points Vito, but this is pretty exciting stuff!! oops, sorry again.
Ok, think of the responsibility this puts in a teacher. They already have a ton of responsibility, now they are task with protecting the kids in a fire fight. What if they fail? Would you want to feel that guilt. Lets just put a damn Leo in the school, with an AR
Some are assuming that responsibility , willingly. No one is forcing them, atleast I hope note. That is a very dangerous situation. Some of these teachers are ex military and very well trained. I personally hope they have some extra training for those that CHOOSE to cary in a school zone. I would like to see other requirements like they have to be concealed and on their person at all times. Maybe even look at fingerprint technology in the future so that only the owner can fire the weapon.( not sure what kind of technology is out there at this time) And i agree, a LEO in the school is a must. I was actually surprised to find out most schools aren't already doing this. We've had it for years. Maybe our close proximity to the paducah ky shooting. But not in grade schools. Edited, thinking one thing and typed something else. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Todd what if we used the LEO's like air Marshall's, each school district would have x number of Leo's. they would be under cover and rotate schools. So no one would know if one was their or not. So if these madman do not know they are gun free, will they still attack.
