Well, after shooting my bow a bit at my new foam target I figured it would rain soon so I packed my stuff up and headed to the garage. On the way there, I walked by an edge of pine trees and saw a ground hog. He ran back into a logging road so I stalked up on my driveway and at 20 yards I hit him. As he turned i saw the arrow go horizontally which was a sign he was carrying my arrow. But, after a little wait, we couldn't find him through all that thick stuff. Sorry I don't have any proof of my acomplishment. Although, my dad was just as excited as I was cause he too used to hunt them. In the end, I got my first taste of bow hunting adrenaline lost an arrow and a groundhog.
Yea those little buggers are hard to kill, i shot one last week from about ten yards with a muzzy mx4 and got a complete pass through on his chest. There was a stream of blood all the way to his hole but he made it there.
