At the end of July I'll be going to PA to attend ETAR. So just for fun and to have extra arrows to lose, I made some woodies. I had gotten some heavy spined shafts a long time ago. The 1968 Bear Super Kodiak "Black Beauty" that my wife bought for me is 60# at my DL. So I figured what would go better with that classic bow than POC arrows. I threw together a dozen. Nothing special just sealed and fletched. But boy, I had forgotten how good it feels to shoot big ole fat wood arrow from a old classic bow. They shot well out of my AMF Wing-Red wing Hunter as well. Now I have to decide which and how many bows to tote with me to ETAR. I'm thinking of making a portable bow rack.
