I know a few white people who aren't racist murderers and talented basketball players who aren't black. Let's not get caught up on the exceptions to the norm here.

If he played soccer on your highschool team..... I don't think we can classify him as "HOME SCHOOLED".

One of my good friends was homeschooled, She is pretty chill and likes whack and stack some deer and ducks about as much as i do..... on the other hand, most other homeschooled kids are "wierd" to say the least

You have GOT to be kidding me!?!?!!? Politeness and hard work are RARE these days ... I have been in management all my work life and to find a hard worker has been getting more and more difficult as the years go on ... and politeness???? Even more rare ....

My friend and fellow Lieutenant on my fire department was home-schooled. He was a genius.

My comments are not about or geared toward... "Who would I hire for what job".
A persons work ethics are entirely different from people skills.

I got some cousins that were home schooled. I wouldn't say they are wired but socially awkward.

LOL this thread....in all reality though it's basically true, it seems as if the Parents want to keep their children from all the ill's of the world only to find out when true reality hits (when the kids are late teens early 20's) they are not ready for the world...trust me I wish I could keep my 2 children from the ill's of the world but I also realize you can't control everything about them and that I need to trust God has their best in mind and in his safety...some of lifes issues are great teaching points to your children.....home schooling while it seems like a great idea imho hinders the children later in their lifes.....it also takes a commitment on the parents (normally the Wife) part as well !!!!!! not for me or my Wife

Just returned from vacation but has anyone defined weird yet? I know dozens of HS kids... yes, some of them seem to struggle more socially than others but I don't know if it is at a higher rate than any other kids. I have noticed a lot of private school kids seem to struggle more with reality and seem to possess a higher lack of empathy.
