    I have, but the majority of the ones I've met I wasn't surprised to hear they were home schooled.

    Whats also interesting, I've met a number of parents and was not surprised that they home school their kids. Parents who home school, and kids who have been home schooled, certainly seem to possess a certain trait.

    There are quite a few around here. Polite well mannered kids with a serious lack of what reality is and a major deficit is social skills.

    No doubt that the majority I have known were very polite, well mannered kids, it just seems that the majority are very socially awkward, and most really struggle in math and science. I think raising kids in a social environment is very important.

    Tony, you said exactly what I was thinking. I was not homeschooled, nor did we homeschool our children but, there have to be some perfectly normal families that do just that.

    We base our judgments off personal experiences.

    How do you know that all of the home schooled kids that I have met were not weird?

    Lmfao I lost it when I read this.

    I have met weirdos from public school and homeschooling both, although the latter seems to have a higher percentage. I agree it's the lack of the social aspect of school that leaves them with their wheels spinning for a while initially after being released into the real world
