To many teams with only 10 people. The returning champs have 12. So about half the teams need 2 more people, while the rest need 1 more.

I got a buddy that's interested after I told him about myself doing it. Told him he had to have so many posts written to be part of it, and we spoke after we had already split up teams anyways. If he decides to get involved with the forum and can get 25 posts in before 9/1 can he get in? If not no problem, but if can I will let him know asap. Thanks.

No, I think what happened(don't quote me on it, pun intended  ) is the random generator thingamajig used to dole out the teams generated 27 teams and then added one to each team until everyone was on a team. Would explain why the first xx teams have 11 and the remaining have 10. Add in the no shows and we'll need close to 40 alternates or so(guesstimate).

Should have divided sign up total by 12 and created that many teams and placed the remainders top of the list of the alternates.

Edit: Looks like last season had 27 teams, so probably used the same generator but not as many signed up this year and the number of teams wasn't changed beforehand.
