    If so you may want to check into it to see if its been recalled. Looks like a lot of them are still out there running and pose a significant fire risk. Some of the links I've seen don't include Whirlpool in the brands but they have them out as well. Be a good idea just to run the make and model to see, regardless of the name on it.

    Mine might be past that stage, I think I bought it in 1988 !!! Still running, as long as I oil the motor fan every year !
