just curious for those who take a mtn bike into their spots, how do you haul them in? I have a few spots around that the logging roads are closed to motorized vehicles, and with my limited time and the distance from the road they are in, I'm going to bike in. I already have a milk crate rear rack that will haul my hang on and my gear bag. I did strap my bow in its case to this last year and it was pretty weighed down
are the front bow/gun racks that fit on the handle bars worth while? Not sure how my bow will fit on it with my 10" stablizer and not sure how solid it is?
anyone just use a bow sling?

I will have to bike back to the truck and grab the garden cart, or learn how to quarter/pack a deer

I haven't done it in over 15 years, but I used to use the handle bar mounts. It worked ok, as long as you kept them tightened.

Handle bar mount, sling, bike trailer. Depends on how much gear you're bringing. I've even biked pulling a sled across the lake :tu:

not much for gear, i'll have my small backpack, hang-on and sticks on my rear rack, i'm leaning towards a sling. the old logging roads are fairly clear. studded tires for early or late ice or when theres no snow on the lake would work damn slick!
