The carabiner attaches to my harness. But where (on the bow) do I tie the other end to?

is there a more secure method, vs tying it ?

I put a hook on the tree shoulder height while sitting so that I never need to bend over in the stand. When I have alot rope I have been known to tie it off on the backpack or quiver and even the bow hanger itself. On the lower end I wrap the carabiner around the limb and hook it on the rope.

I have a sling for my bow and just wear it on my back when I climb, no messing with a haul line.

I am assuming you are talking about a pull rope and where to attach it to your bow?

I use 550 chord with a carabiner on the end, hanging about five (5) ft. off of the ground (so I don't have to sit the bow on the ground). I put the carabiner through the cam, climb up and pull the bow up when I get in the stand. I also put some heat shrink tubing on the carabiner so it does make noise up against the cam.
