Yesterday, a group of 5-6 deer came in to my blind location. I was able to shoot one of them which means that I was busted by the rest.

I know for a fact that 2 were looking straight into my blind when I drew on the one that wasn't paying attention. It's possible that the others just reacted to their alarm but either way, I was busted by at least 2 deer in the group.

Do I need to find a new location for my blind or will it be ok to use again after it sits for a few days?

    Opinions, please.

Has it been in the same place for quite a while?
They may have looking at it if it hasn't been there very long.

Not always. I shot a 3 1/2 year old 8pt from my stand (blind) at 8am 11/15. That afternoon my buddy sat in the same blind and at 4pm shot a 3 1/2 year old 9pt. I shot a 8pt from the same blind with a rifle on 11/22 too.

Are their decent numbers of other deer at your location? If yes then I wouldnt really care if that particular group of deer is nervous about that spot. I don't see any reason to wait on hunting it again unless your have a better alternative.

I shot a doe from a blind at 4 in the afternoon but since I still had an hour to hunt and since she fell right there, I decided to hunt/watch the other side of the blind till dark. The old sixth sense kicked in and said turn around about a half an hour later and as I did there was another doe smelling the fallen doe with a 9 pointer following. The 9 pointer fell 10 feet from the first doe!

Well, it's not like the 2 deer who saw you are going to tell their buddies that there is a hunter in that spot. Assuming that there are more than those 3-4 deer left on your property I'd not worry about it

That's why you should "shoot them all!"

    You don't want any witnesses!

Thanks for the replies. The blind has only been up for a few days and there are other deer in the area so even if the group from yesterday changes their pattern, it's still a good spot.

Just another case of me over thinking things.
