I have 2013 Bear Anarchy and it seems like every other shot I have to mess with the rubber boots on the the suppressor arms, more often than not the upper one rotates. Ocasionally the string goes past the upper one. I have contemplated taking them off and going with a conventional style suppressor but, I really like the look of the dual suppressor. Someone had suggested using vane glue to attach the rubber boots to the arms but, I really don't want to have to glue them. The design on the new agenda 7 appears to be a vast improvement but it doesn't look like I could retrofit those suppressors on my bow because they come straight out from the mounting points on the riser, whereas the mounting points on my bow are at an angle. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I saw your post while cruising through, so I thought I'd register and jump in. My Anarchy top suppressor also rotates. Seems to be the norm, if you watch the video online of David Blanton shooting the prototype at the Bear factory, you can see him rotate it back straight too, right after the bow is handed to him. On mine, I simply removed the suppressor, put a drop or two of Loctite Go2 glue on the inside and reinstalled. It will stay tight for a long time, yet will remove fairly easy when they need to be replaced. I did this to mine when I first got the bow, and they stayed in place until the top stop finally broke some 1500+ shots later. Regarding the string going past the suppressor, first be sure that your idler wheel is in line properly. If every thing there looks good, and the string is still not centered on the suppressor, the suppressor arm may be slightly bent, no big deal as it is aluminum. Again, I had the same problem on my top suppressor. I put the bow in a bow vice upside down, holding the top limbs, and pushed slightly on the arm, until it was centered. With the crazy compound bends in the arm, it does not take much for them to be off when they are made, to make a big difference in alignment way out by the string. One more tip in my long-winded answer, if you're not doing it already, I put a small bit of Scorpion Venom Serving Lube on the serving that contacts the stoppers. Seems to keep the wear down on the serving there. Hope this helps. V
