Here is there site. http://www.scentsmoker.com/index.html My friends live and die by smoking their clothes before every hunt. They've told me they've had deer within 5 yards of them. Doesn't this just go against smelling invisible? I still use all the chemicals to smell invisible. Your thoughts?
I think that's basically what it is...just a bee smoker. And the dude is selling hickory chips which I'm sure you could buy cheaper at Walmart or something. Anyone else try this? I'm considering it...
I agree, it defeats the whole purpose of trying to smell invisible... I really want to introduce as little foreign odors into my setups as possible....
But is the smell of hickroy really that foreign in the woods? Guys I don't want to sound like I'm all gun-ho but both of my hunting partners have gotten a few serious deer by smoking their clothes. They still wash with all the invisible stuff and carry the field wipes too...but I've actually seen the fruit of their labor with this. They started this last year and everyone at the hunting club was making fun of them until one of my buddies shut them up with a nice 8-pointer. They swear by it but they haven't sold me yet.
Well I bought it and it came in yesterday...very nice quality smoker. I'm probably going to try it next weekend. Will let you guys know.
Hey, if it works !! I'm not big on smelling like anything but a HINT of dirt and leaves when I go into the woods. Also not big on breathing benzene and acrolyne(by products of combustion) However, I think I'm gonna try this hickory smoke as a cologne next time I go out drinkin I guess you can look at it like this- this smoke smell may not be threatening to deer, so, if it covers human, home, dog or whatever foreign odors we may attract- it could help ?
