has anyone ever seen wild hogs in wisconsin?

    A few years ago the WDNR was telling people about "Russian Hogs" down in Vernon and Crawford along the river...they are UN-protected and they were encouraging people to shoot them.

    My hunting buddy(Rod) and I were gearing up to go after them; then he hauled off and had massive heart attack(he failed to ask me, if that was OK). It REALLY took the wind out of sail and I never made down there to hunt them.

    Ive seen it in the regulations for a few yrs now. that why I was wondering if someone ever saw one.i know it would be bad if they were here but sure would like hunting them.

    There were some around Eau Claire/Clark county that had gotten out of a game farm. Pretty sure they were all shot.
