I've got a irritating harness that came with a hang-on big dog treestand and it sux! I saw littleshooter's thread about his strap and it made me think about my piece of crap. what is in your opinion the best tree safety system on the market from a hunters point of view?
I'm leaning towards the Muddy harness if and when I can come up with $120 extra bucks. Money is pretty tight right now, LOL! Right now I'm using freebies like yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I use a Hunters Safety System. Works awesome, but if the muddy harness was around when I bought mine, I'd have went that route. It seems as easy to hook up with out all the added weight of the vest material.
I have been using a SOP harness for the last 5-6 years and don't see me switching. I like it because its simple and doesn't interfere with any of my clothing. Sure, it can be a tangle mess, especially after I wash it, but other than that, if you take it off and hold it by the tether, its good. I had a HSS vest and didn't like it. Something about having those big seat belt buckles just didn't sit well with me.
What is the most light wieght unnoticable one? those morning hunts i'm layered up so much its a task getting a harness on then you feel real heavy
I use the old style SOP harness. I have no complaints. In the dark it can be a bit of game figuring out which way goes where but it usually takes me just a few seconds to put it on.
