I'm thinking about buying me a new release. Ive seen the forward trigger and swept back trigger. Which do you all like or have?

    Thanks, Mark

I was looking at the Hardcore as well, so I'm curious to see what others have to say.

What is the difference between the forward trigger and the swept back trigger?

Well from the looks on their site....the swept back trigger is swept back instead of sticking straight out. I think I would like the forward trigger better...not sure though. For $91 shipped I wanna make sure...lol.

I use a tru-fire edge and love it. I have a buddy that uses the hardcore max and I know he likes it a lot. Im a big fan of all the tru-fires.

I have had a few Tru-Fire releases and like them all. Now I am using the Hardcore. I liked it so much I got a second for a back up shortly after getting the first. Now I want the Hardcore Max since it has adjustable trigger tension and adjustable trigger travel that the hardcore does not. Even though the original has very little to no trigger travel. Since I have 2 Hardcores already, I guess I will stick with the original Hardcore for a while. I do like the swept back trigger. It fits me perfectly to use the middle part of my finger (not the tip) to pull the trigger. They are a great company with outstanding CS. Made in USA (WI) too. I recommend one.

Thanks Guys...I may get the swept back trigger then...Since on my Tru Fire Hurricane I use the middle part of my finger as well. but its a forward trigger. The only downfall is United Outdoors only has the forward trigger for $91 shipped the swept back I will have to order from another place and there like $101

After looking I may go with the Hurricane over the Hardcore. I started out with a Patriot and really liked it, but didn't care for the velcro strap. I switched to a 360, but the head of it is a little too big I think.

Try looking for them on eBay.

That's where I'm looking. Thanks! I like my Hurricane. Its a leather buckle foldback. Just like the head on the hardcore Max.

Love my Hardcore Maxx. I shoot with the swept back trigger and its awesome, i have it set nice and light with a short trigger pull since it is adjustable for both. Highly recommend this release!!! Swept back is definitely the trigger i like best

Max is awesome. It has the super adjustable trigger for length of pull and pull weight, i have found this feature very nice. I used to shoot a Scott Sabertooth and was able to adjust the pull weight, but was stuck with the same length of pull. Now with my Max i have it set with a real short pull, a very crisp "match grade" type of feel and breakover. It has improved my accuracy and i really like the feel of it.

I have the Hardcore max, I also would recomend it. Out of the package it was perfect. I have not had a need to adjust the trigger from the factory setting. I have it in red, so it matches my Ripcord rest. The strap is VERY comfortable also.
