people are more apt to try and find loop holes now, like searching for ways to sue others for money. idk Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Yup, because they didn't have the same fair upbringing, so why does that person deserve all the money?? Im like Sachiko, A was a baseline grade. When I brought it home, it was an average day, bring home B+ you get beat. Obviously since other races on average don't have the same kind of household mentality, it's not fair to them that asians do better on tests. Im actually trying to find someone who supports this to see if I can understand their viewpoint. I did talk to one of my liberal friends, she said that she has no position but can see why it's good because whites and asians on a whole have had it better. That's because they focus on the right things in life and don't play the victim mentality.
How do "we" have it any better than other ethnicities? We are all offered the same opportunities. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
You don't have the same upbring as them nor do you commit the same sacrifice or work as hard. But everyone obviously deserves to get the best in life. (Sarcasm)
We should just redistribute all of the wealth in this country and also treat diplomas from Harvard the same as one from a community college. Also, all employers should be mandated to utilize a rating scale, one which adds more points for those persons who were not raised in a "normal" environment.
it's been around longer than him, but it does seem to have taken root more recently than what my history books have recounted. anyhow, when i volunteer at the homeless shelter, they feel that there are a lot of undeserved wealth. rather than earn their own wealth, they feel entitled to the wealth of those they deem undeserved.
it's a sort of victim mentality. many have been lead to believe that they can't do anything for themselves so they need a larger, stronger entity (such as the federal government) to act as their champion. racism, sexism, etc are very easy vehicles to carry this sentimentality/mentality.
Ive mostly found it's the people who don't make as much, as in alot of my high school classmates that think the minimum wage should be increased and that rich people should give up everything and if people didn't start on the same footing that they should be given handicap points = \ Really irritating.
These whiners are always pointing to us "Asians," like we're supposed to stand aside so they can take the slots we earned. I have a couple suggestions. Next time you see a bunch of guys standing around shooting hoops, check how many "Asians" are not in the crowd. Next time you're out at the mall shopping, check out the teen-age girls there hanging out. Note how many are not "Asians." Everybody who went to school with me, from kindergarten through high school, got the same books, got the same assignments, had the same teachers, rode the same buses. Some of them even got free breakfasts and lunches. The only difference was that I didn't eat the cafeteria food. I always brought my lunch. And they didn't have my mother. These people need to quit blaming the "system" and start looking to their parents.
Fired Black Employee Sues Paint Company Over Racist Paint Names If you name the color of a paint after someone who just happens to have the same name, you could get sued. Somehow I doubt the legitimacy of this guys claim and think that he just wasn't a quality worker. I have no idea how big this company is, but seeing how Benjamin moore paints is owned by berkshire hathaway, it must be sizeable. I also have a hard time believing that this one lowly worker was special enough to have a paint color named after him. I have to think it just coincided with the popular name that he was named with along with the theme of paints being released.
