On the way to my farm today I stopped and took a few pics of the ice on the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers along with some Trumpeter Swans on the ice. Barge traffic is at a standstill. I did see a couple moving with 3 tug boats pushing them. Some of those ice piles are 15 or more feet tall. The Missouri The Mississippi near Alton, IL. Trumpeter Swans on the ice next to a little pocket of open water. Then when I got to the farm I found these huge ice cicles coming out of my rock cliffs.
Come up to Minnesota after the last 2 weeks of below zero temps and I'll show you some hard water. We p!ss icicles here. Good pics though
