It was an okay little camera. I can't comment on the Browning SF's as I don't have any of them. The old M-880's were flipping fantastic for a regular IR camera...the 2014 models left some to be desired but I don't have any experience with the new styled ones. Hopefully they worked out the out of focus edges of the pics. The Red 40's are stupid expensive. If I were to go order a camera right now from Amazon, I'm still pretty stuck on the Stealth Cam G42's in the $120 range. For a cheaper option I'd like to try a SC G30. Both just because I like the wide screen format as opposed to the smaller one like the Primos proof 2 or the coverts I have.
Just checked photos 2 days ago.. Smaller buck have lost most of their velvet where as the more mature deer are still in full velvet. The season doesn't start here for another month and I figure with in the next 2 weeks, all the deer will be out of their velvet.
The deer in my area are shedding out starting to switch coats, heck I have some fawns that you can hardly see the spots anymore. Velvet comes off in the next 2 weeks.
