Anyone have any recommendations for hard gun cases? My wife surprised me with a Browning Citori White Lightning for my birthday and right now I've only got soft cases for guns. With the quality of the gun I'd like to protect it a little better than with just a soft case. I know SKB is pretty popular as far as hard cases go but they carry a pretty steep price tag. Has anyone found something similar to SKB that's a little cheaper?
I guess it depends on what you are going to be doing with it. I just have a cheap plano for my hunting rifle. Most of the year it sits under the bed. Only gets pulled out a couple times to take to the range or hunting camp. If I planned on shipping it or checking it onto a plane for trip I'd definitely go with something better and more expensive.
I have a cabelas hard case for my ar. Theyre very reasonable and well made for $70. Nothing much comperable in that price range
