The most difficult thing about getting older are all of the good bye's.

Yessir I lost one of the most important people in my life earlier this year and I can't find a way to fill the void. All we can do is keep these peoples legacy going.

I'm really sorry. 2 years ago yesterday I lost my grandma (my best friend). I'm not old, but the loss is the same. This is a hard time of year for me. You are in my prayers.

Shane, you`ll get through it. Just think of all the great times you had with your Grandfather. Be strong, he would want you to be i`m sure, God Bless.

I lost a girl friend that I had dated for 10 years to breast cancer 4 years ago. Now her Mom has stage 4 lung cancer. Never smoked a day in her life.

It's my wives uncle and he's still fighting but it's not looking good. He took a down hill turn in just a few days. Last year I lost my uncle to cancer and then my 21 year little cousin died after fighting cancer and had a heart attack while she was recovering. She left a 1 and half year old daughter behind. And she was a single mom. It was the hardest funeral I've ever attended and I've attended a lot. Thanks for the support friends.

I hate to think about it the people I know that are suffering and losing to cancer it really sucks people that never never hurt anyone and they end up fighting so hard and losing, I don't pray but my thoughts are with all that are fighting the battle, hope I can be as strong when it is my turn.

My dad just finished chemo/radiation for throat cancer and just ended up back in the hospital one step away from septic shock. Hes a tough *** though and hopefully gets released tomorrow. all this after pancreatitis and emergency gall bladder surgery in the past 2 years. Im at the age now where gotta start taking care of the parents. yes getting old sucks...

I know how all of that feels. I lost my Mom when she was just 66 from cancer. I lost my Brother when he was only 55, and now I have to deal with my invalid 85 year old Father who has a laundry list of things wrong with him. He's coming back home from physical therapy that didn't work very well, and he's going to be a HANDFUL!! I had to cancel my Ohio rut hunt because of it. Really bummed.

Yes it does suck I had 3 deaths in my family in less than 2 weeks. My Sister-in-law, Uncle and Step Dad all in succession. The first 2 to Cancer and the last one to heart failure. :(
