Late in the day yesterday after school, my son and I stopped by the landowner where I hunt. After a good talk with the landowner, my son suggested we look for sheds, so I agreed and we took a small walk. Ten minutes in, and he's yelling for me he found one, so I went over to him. He not only found one, but two antlers. Not real big, but they were the first sheds he ever found, and it was a matched set. I've never found a matched set laying together like he did. One happy little boy, and I was proud of him!
That's pretty cool. I love seeing the younger generation getting out and enjoying the things that we all love so much
Thanks for all the kind words guys! He's been showing them off to everyone that stops over at the house. I think I'm leading him down the right path, since he really enjoys being out in the woods! Especially when he can find what he calls treasures.
