39, I knew the basic story behind the national anthem. Just not the detail of the flag being held up by the dead bodies of patriots who refused to let it fall. Should have clarified that better. that was they only new detail to me.
there is a radio station where i live that plays that version of the National anthem at noon very day, its narrated along with the song. I make sure that i listen to that radio station everyday at noonish. (or try to) the words mean so much to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i not ashamed to admit i shed a tear to that version every time i listen to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
